How To Transfer Ultra Heat Press Printing To Garments

Please ensure that you peel ultra heat transfer printing after cool off for a while, as these are COLD SPLIT. If they still get hot, you will have issues peeling.

Please test ultra heat transfer on a test garment to dial in your heat press settings, time and pressure due to each heat press being made by different manufacturers so they vary from machine to machine. Also test to adjust for each different garment material to get the correct setting for proper transfer.

Please Note : Heat Setting and Time might differ slighly from heat press to heat press as manufacturers and quality varies. So it is advice to test a few prints before commiting to the full run to get your heat press set up dialed in.

Instructions:

Be sure that your Heat Press is heated to 130-150 Celsius.
Set machine pressure to 45-50psi (Heavy Pressure)
Place the garments in the heat press so that area that will receive the transfer in centred.
Pre-press the garment for about 2-3 seconds to remove excess moisture.
Then place the transfer on the garment then place a silicone tefland* press for about 10-20 seconds.
Remove the garment and wait for garment totally cold down for a while.
Peel the transfer sheet off in a smooth fluid motion starting from one corner and peeling to the opposite corner. Please do not allow the peeling while garment is still hot, don't peel part way and stop.
Once the transfer papaer has been peeled away, place the silicone sheet* over the print, and repress for 8-10 seconds for final permanent press.

Why do we recommend that you should place a sheet over the transfer?

Because the sheet will protect your heat press from geeting any ink set on the heat element and transferring onto other garments. It is also reduce the chances of gretting scorche marks on your garments.
